Script Adaption

When filming our trailer, despite having planned and written our script, we felt it best to omit portions of it in the interests of pace and economy for the trailer. We felt that it wasn't necessary to include the full amount of dialogue that we had planned to include as, having imported our footage and beginning to edit we felt it was too long and protracted as an overall piece. By removing snippets of dialogue from the trailer, the pace of the trailer was dramatically increased and as such, made for a far more exciting trailer that was far more believable to the viewer.  In hindsight, I believe that we overestimated the length of time a trailer should ideally have and in turn, the amount of material that is easily able to be comfortably accommodated into the piece without it seeming too burdened or overstretched or equally not adequately proportioned with enough material.
